How To Secure Your facebook Account (Facebook Lite Users)

 

One way to protect your privacy is to permanently delete your Facebook account. However, if you rely, like many of us, on staying in touch with the people in your life, that's not always an option. So here's your best bet: take the security measures we recommend here to protect your Facebook account and ensure your confidential information is not compromised.

 To get started, click the Menu at the top right of your Facebook page, then click Settings.

Then click Settings

 Now click Password & Security

 Here you will change some Settings to secure you Account.

So first click Use two-factor authentication and set that up.

 

 Secondly you want to Check you logged in devices click on Authorized logins If there is a device you don't recognize you want to log those devices out.

 

 Lastly turn this on, click on Get alerts about unrecognized logins 

 

 Here is a bonus for that people that tag you in things you don't want to be tagged in.

Click on Profile & Tagging 

 

Then turn the to options on in Reviewing
